last night was my first christmas away from my family. i spent it with my sister jack and my cousin jim(alright they're family - but you know what i mean). noche buena was consist of bromate free bread and hotdogs ",> if my mother knew this she'd probably cry - good thing she doesn't surf the net. so inisip na lang namin ham yun (we imagined it's ham). and when that didn't do it, we all decided to go to sleep - maybe it will taste even better in our dreams.

my last thought before drifting off was, "is there anyone in my address book i forgot to text merry christmas?" i woke up around 7:38am with no memory of my dreams and the message blinking on my cellphone's screen is "no more space for new messages." the worst thing in this world is being forgotten. looks like it's the least of my problems. so i spent the early part of my morning, replying, recycling and forwarding christmas messages. from 258 pesos my load was down to 217. sigh...

i was nearly late getting to work today - that's not a first. i seem to be always on the edge of "being late" but so far i have never crossed over being "really late." i got here 2 minutes before my shift starts. it was the fastest walkathon i ever did since i learned to walk. it took me less than 10 minutes to get to ayala from the corner of paseo and arnaiz. i wasn't so sleepy after that. better than coffee - not that i haven't tried walking with my closed. i never did that again - i lost my debit card.

by the time i got here, i was breathless and very hungry. all that got resolved within a few minutes. free food everywhere! ...ahhh heaven! i'm hoarding all the sylvanas i can get.

it's time to think of my new year's resolution. keyword is "new." i guess that means no "recycling" of past resolutions that never materialized. i have 5 days. it can't be that hard...right?

book i'm reading right now, stone of tears by terry goodkind. i read the 4th and 5th book already. i'm doing everything backwards. i think that has to be a part of my resolutions too. whatever.

most favorite "gift" i got this christmas? a "bilao." now i don't know what the translation for that is.
